Cañon City · Where it started
That hand-lettered glass is where Classic Movers got its name — a downtown Cañon City shop, a truck, and a promise. Today the moving company runs on the same idea: a real person on the phone, a real conversation about your move, and a handshake on every quote. No call centers, no scripts.

How it works
Four steps. Zero surprises.
From the first phone call to the last box in the right room — the same crew, the same care, the whole way.
Call or text us
A real person answers — and if we're on a truck and miss you, we call right back. Tell us what's moving, where, and when.
Honest walk-through
In-person or virtual. We look at every room and write the estimate ourselves. No surprises.
Move day
We give you an arrival window and keep you posted if anything changes. Pads, straps, and a crew that hustles.
Set up, not dropped off
We reassemble your furniture, set every box in the right room, and put each piece exactly where you want it before we leave.
Day in the life
What nearly two decades of moves looks like.
Every truck. Every crew. Every move day starts the same way: load the gear, meet the customer, and take care of someone's home like it's our own.

Why families choose us
Because moving day is too important to gamble.
Careful is the standard
Pads, straps, floor runners and patience — plus coverage options explained in plain English.
Honest, often under estimate
We walk the job, build a fair quote, and frequently come in below it.
Clear arrival windows
We give you a window, keep you posted, and finish when we said we would.
Real humans, real care
Jared, Marc, Gabe, Jesse and the crew — neighbors moving neighbors since 2008.
The crew
The names you'll actually meet on move day.
No subcontractors. No day-laborers. Every Classic Movers job is run by people who've been on the truck for years — and who care about the doorframe as much as you do.

The Classic Movers Promise
Six things we put in writing — and live by.
These aren't marketing lines. They're the same promises made on our first move in 2008, and the same ones Jared and Marc stand behind on every walk-through today.
Careful hands, honest coverage
Pads, straps and patience on every piece — plus clear, written coverage options explained up front.
Honest, often under estimate
We walk the job before we quote it — and we frequently come in below the estimate.
A real arrival window
We give you a window, we show up in it, and we call you the moment anything changes.
Family-run since 2008
Jared, Marc, Gabe, Jesse — the same faces you saw last year.
Your load, never combined
Your household goods ride alone — never mixed with another customer's shipment.
Real humans pick up
Phones answered by people who'll be on the truck.
Christmas, every year
Every December the trucks get loaded up with something different: thousands of unwrapped toys for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive. Gabe, Jesse and the crew run the routes after hours, off the clock. It's the move we look forward to most.
Cañon City Fire District
When District Fire Station Number Two needed help reorganizing equipment between bays, our 16-foot box truck was parked next to Engine 162 within an hour. Same trucks that move your living room move our neighbors in uniform. That's small-town moving the way it should be.
Florence Pirate Days
Every summer we hand the keys to one of the trucks over to the Historic Rialto Theater for the Florence Pirate Days parade. They build a galleon on the trailer, we drive it through downtown, and the whole town shows up. This is what 'family business' actually means.
Specialty · The heavy stuff
Homeland Safes, Liberty, Browning — we move them all. Up stairs, down stairs, through tight basements and across hardwood. We bring the right dollies, the right straps, and the patience to set it down exactly where you want it.
What started in 2008 with one truck and a stubborn commitment to doing things right has grown into a fleet you'll recognize from Pueblo to Denver, Salida to Santa Fe — and as far as 1,000+ miles in either direction.
We still answer the phone. Marc still walks most jobs. The crew — Jared, Gabe, Jesse, Cameron, Anthony, Conner — treat your home and your heirlooms the way they'd treat their own grandmother's piano.
